“Wood you” or wouldn’t you?

B-43Maison 98 x 43 Dining Table

The way we live today is becoming more and more relaxed.  It’s becoming environment friendly and healthier.  Formality has given way to more laughter, less worry and more time for family and friends.  One of the biggest movements includes the re-introduction of wood but in a more natural state.
This time it brings more than just warmth, it brings texture and history.  Surfaces are not prone to showing every little nick or ding.  It’s extremely kid friendly and as a rule, surprisingly affordable.  And the best part…it’s just gets better and better looking with time.
Some people like to mix it with transitional interiors, other with contemporary.  It adds an artistic element to almost any room as long as it’s given room to breathe.
Working on design projects means sorting through thousands and thousands of items on a daily basis.  While doing this, once in a while we stumble on a piece that is outstanding in both style and price.  I’d like to share some of these au’ natural pieces with you.   Of course, this is just a small sampling.  If you have an interest in any of these items, feel free to call the showroom to get more information.
In the months ahead I’ll be adding a special section to my blog for “favorite picks” in case you’re looking for a piece or two without redoing your whole place.   For those of you always on the quest for the perfect piece, keep me in mind if you find one.  I’d love to share it with everyone else.
